 At Tarka Dining, our second pop-up showcases food that has been inspired from various empires and civilisations that reached the Indian subcontinent over the ages.  The food that accompanied these different voyagers and occupiers brought new flavours and techniques to the mainland and has influenced Indian cuisine over the years. We are celebrating cuisine from local people that demonstrates how these influences have been incorporated in their daily lives – a story of cookery across cultures and the ages.

For this pop-up, our Sommelier is collaborating with Wangolina Wines which blends perfectly with this inspired food. Let us introduce you to the fabulous wines produced by Anita Goode, Owner + Maker + Grower At Wangolina wines!!

Anita has been a ‘part of the fabric’ at Wangolina since inception, working in every facet of the family business. Graduating with an Oenology degree at Adelaide University in 2001, she went on to work consecutive vintages overseas and within Australia to broaden her knowledge, exposure, and experience before returning to her home in Mt Benson. Taking the reins as sole Owner/ Director in 2013, Anita has continued to evolve the Wangolina range and vineyard plantings to capitalise on the cool climate regionality and Limestone Coast capabilities of Mt Benson in South Australia.

Anita was a Top 50 finalist in the Young Gun of Wine Awards 2021 + Winner of a ‘Hear Me Roar’ Scholarship 2020.   Wangolina was also recognised as a Top 10 Dark Horse Winery 2021 in the Halliday Guide.  We are sure you will enjoy her wines.
