A Trip Down Memory Lane: The Flavours of the 70’s & 80’s Return
The 1970s and 1980s were iconic eras in so many ways, including the realm of food. These decades introduced us to culinary delights that remain close to many hearts. At Room with Roses, we’re celebrating these beloved decades with our “Nostalgia Menu, Favourites from 70’s & 80’s”.
Starting from the beloved Pumpkin Soup, reminiscent of many family dinners, paired perfectly with the unmistakable Sizzler-style parmesan bread. The Chicken Caesar Salad follows suit, a dish that stood the test of time and remains a favorite today.
For the mains, the Barramundi with a macadamia herb crust offers a sophisticated touch to a popular 70’s dish, while the Chicken Chasseur Pie captures the comforting essence of home-cooked 80’s meals.
Dessert, the highlight for many, boasts a rich and decadent Crème Brûlée, and the timeless Apple Strudel, warm and inviting with every bite.
