It’s teatime in the Brisbane Arcade and the grand tradition of the Room with Roses High Tea has been elevated to new heights with the introduction of their High Tea Trolley Experience on selected Saturdays, only.
Limited to only 20 guests per sitting, antique trollies parade by offering you a choice from an amazing selection of savouries, scones as well as sweets and pastries made by our in-house Pâtissier.
Featuring views overlooking Brisbane Arcade, Room with Roses is one of Brisbane’s most iconic venues. With its understated elegance and warm ambience featuring plush furnishings and chandeliers, Room with Roses offers a premium high tea experience which is the perfect place to enjoy this grand tradition.
Upon arrival to Room with Roses, you will be ushered to tables in our Balcony area. From there, you can select your favourites from the tiered stands on the passing High Tea Trollies as you view Brisbane Arcade. Select from ribbon and pinwheel sandwiches, warm and cold savouries as well as freshly prepared petit pastries, sweets and desserts. Also included are 2 flavours of freshly baked scones with homemade jam and Chantilly cream. Freshly brewed specialty teas and coffees are brought to your table throughout the afternoon. All this for $55 per person.
Vegetarian and gluten free options can be catered for an additional $5 per person with at least 24 hours’ notice. Please be aware we are unable to offer dairy-free or vegan options for this experience.
Upgrade your High Tea Trolley with selections from our Drinks Trolley. What shall it be – Aperol Spritz or our Champagne cocktail with Turkish Delight liqueur and a portion of chocolate dipped Turkish Delight? Perhaps you would prefer to share a jug of Pimms’ Number 1 Cup with friends?
Or even better, we are also offering a special refreshing cocktail in the lead up to Christmas: “Gin-gle Bells” which includes gin, cranberry juice, lime juice and bubbles. We also have other selections on our Drinks Trolley. Let’s not forget our ever-popular Raspberry Punch! Or there isour Mimosa Indulgence Package for 1 hour. So many choices!
