On Friday 05/11/2021, Chef Kapile offered a degustation menu of Modern Indian cuisine featuring selections from the length and breadth of India. In addition to his skills developed in his native India, Chef Kapile also learned from Michelin Star Chef Manjunath Mural, who is the first Indian chef to earn a Michelin star from Southeast Asia, during his stint at ‘Heritij’ Restaurant in Brisbane. There he learned the culinary techniques, research of regional food, and the art of Modern Indian cuisine that combines Australian produce and the Indian penchant for soul cooking.
Oh what fun was had! Bringing together people over a meal, well lets just say it was a wonderful evening and we will be hosting another one in the near future. Get in touch with us if you would like to come to the next one and remember that limited seats are available for all of our pop up dining experiences at Room with Roses.

Premium Wine Tasting
We will be offering a premium wine tasting experience for our guests. For this menu, our theme is working with organic, biodynamic and sustainable wines only.
Biodynamic farming has long been followed in India 1000 years as they to follow the lunar calendar. Our wines have been sourced by your sommelier who has sought out environmentally friendly wines from the best producers.
We chose to pair French wines for our first pop up to match the aromatic spices and ingredients we use in our kitchen with light bodied wines with zesty ness, freshness, with lingering fruits and long finish that will make you go back asking for more. Pairing these wines with food is more like creating a synergy.
