Italy is known for love and the love of food. Italian cuisine is familiar, comfortable and delightful. We’re paying tribute to marvellous Italy this week with a menu that embraces the Italian’s la dolce vita or the good life.

A good life definitely starts with flavoursome food and Italy has fabulous food in abundance. A big part of the appeal of Italian food is its fresh ingredients and adventurous use of herbs and spices. The starting point of many Italian meals is the olive oil, used for cooking and alone to season dishes. The next critical element for Italian cuisine is the herbs, from garlic, oregano and basil which add the aroma and complex taste to these delicious meals.

Then comes the key vegetables, such as vine-ripened tomatoes, which pair perfectly with garlic and herbs to complement pizzas, pastas and beyond. The well-known and loved foundation of Italian cuisine is the freshly made pasta, pizza base or gnocchi – all made by hand and with love. All that’s left now is to top it off with cheese, like creamy ricotta, mild mozzarella or sharp parmesan. Delizioso!

Live your dolce vita and explore the tastes of Italy during our Italian week from 25th – 30th May. Simply call us on (07) 3229 7050 to book your table.
